This album is the first in a series of two and contains folk songs written earlier in my career. Written on voice and guitar, these songs cover a variety of aspects of the more challenging aspects of the human experience; nostalgia for a place we love, conflict, the ambiguity in our relationship to losing someone, difficulty in making ‘right’ choices and what can happen when the human heart remains closed.
