I closed my eyes and I appreciated having her warm energy. I felt that energy even at the tip of my fingers. I saw the light in the back of my eyes – it was beautiful blue and orange. When I heard her voice, the colour was just like a rainbow which was changing very quietly. That was truly relaxing for me and I was very content. I was very surprised when I noticed the tears on my face ‘Where did they come from? Why tears?’. I never had the tears because of contentment before – usually only when I have felt sad or had a hard time. Her clear voice made me very happy and all my stress was released. Sound, Music & Reiki for Healing, Restoration and Balance

In Person Reiki/Sound Healing: Would you like to relax, heal and clear your energy? Is it time to try a new way of connecting to the Divine in you? Reiki, especially with the support of sound, can restore balance and really help you relax. Suitable for emotional and physical balancing, times of transition and nurturing… bringing back the state of being ‘at rest’.

In Person Music Healing: I play and sing original songs to you and also  sing improvisationally, with my own accompaniment, (e.g. tibetan bowls and shruti, ocean drum)  to help you relax and feel into blocked emotions and then we talk about it. This also works in a group setting.

Healing Music CDs are available in the Shop: Moonmist and Africa Returns each have two beautiful and relaxing half hour pieces, specially designed for what is commonly known, in sound healing, as ‘passive’ listening. This gives the mind enough to listen to to engage it, but it is not so melodically active that it distracts the mind into active thinking – hence taking the listener out of mental activity and into a place where the body can relax and receive intentional sound healing whilst the mind floats above any clouds of concern. It is in this place that a person can journey… and my voice in the recordings lifts a person into the etheric realms where they can connect with healing beauty.

What happens in a healing session?

In a Reiki session you simply lie down (or sit in a chair) and receive healing energy from the practitioners hands. It is a safe environment, you remain fully clothed and there is usually a healing music CD playing gently in the background, providing a supportive healing energy environment. Reiki is extremely gentle and respectful – leaving you, the receiver, relaxed, peaceful and connected to your own energy field. Reiki clears other people and old energy (including unhelpful thoughts) out of your energy field, out of your aura – that’s why it brings peacefulness. From that place, physical healing can begin its own process – your body knows how it wants to be, so our job is to get our mind to rest in order to let the body wisdom and spirit wisdom to take over.

I developed my Sound Healing practice in association with Oakland Children’s Hospital over a period of years and have been lecturing on the subject for many years: ‘Sound Healing Conference’, San Francisco, CA, ‘California Institute of Psychoacoustics’, San Francisco, CA & ‘Words and Music for Transition’, Palm Springs, CA, USA, ‘Festival of Life’, London.  I have recently become a Reiki Master, which raises the vibration of a healing session.
